Types of cookies
- Essential, required for the website to work correctly (session, language choice, storage of the consent decision). No consent required.
- Statistical (optional), Google Analytics 4 cookies (e.g.
_ga,_ga_*) collecting pseudonymised, aggregated traffic data. Enabled only after consent. The provider is Google Ireland Ltd.; transfers outside the EEA are made on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Managing consent and cookies
You can change or withdraw your cookie decision at any time via the „Cookie settings” link in the footer (reopening the banner) or in your browser settings. The choice made in the banner is stored locally in your browser, so we remember your preference on future visits. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
What we actually store
- otsl_v3_sess — technical session, including protection of the form against abuse. Expires when you close the browser.
- otsl_lang — your language choice, valid for one year.
- otsl_cookie — your consent decision. Stored in the browser local storage, not in a cookie.
- otsl_who, otsl_email, otsl_staff — only on devices of OTSL staff handling enquiries. We never set them for visitors.
- otsl_preview — only during maintenance mode, for a person holding the preview key.
- _ga, _ga_*, _gid — Google Analytics 4, only after your consent. We delete them when consent is withdrawn.
Legal basis
The use of cookies is based on the GDPR and the Polish Electronic Communications Law of 12 July 2024, which replaced the Telecommunications Law on 10 November 2024. Essential cookies do not require consent; statistical ones are enabled only after it is given [Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR].
