How do we carry to fairs in Norway?
To Norwegian fairs we carry with customs, because the country is outside the EU: a declaration under Digitoll, an ATA carnet for the stand and a ferry crossing. Exhibition logistics in Norway: from the Svinesund border to a finished stand
Norway belongs to the European Economic Area but sits outside the EU customs union, so every shipment of stand construction and exhibits to a trade fair needs border handling. For the duration of the show we clear exhibits under temporary admission or on an ATA carnet, with a planned re-export after teardown. The typical route runs through the Svinesund border crossing between Sweden and Norway, where the DigiToll and AutoPASS toll systems apply. We prepare the customs declarations so the cargo does not get stuck at the border, and the stand reaches Norges Varemesse in Lillestrøm near Oslo or the Norway Trade Fairs venues in Oslo on the organiser's schedule. We settle the formalities so that the entry and exit of your equipment are cleared without risk to your budget or your deadline. OTSL's work does not end at the border. We deliver stand construction and exhibits with a booked time slot, so your build crew finds the cargo on site and finishes the assembly before doors open. We take empty packaging and crates into storage for the run of the fair, and once it ends we return after teardown to bring the stand back to Poland. How far ahead to plan it
For Norway allow 5-7 weeks: there is customs, the ATA carnet and a longer route with a crossing, and winter weather on top.
