You reach Finland by sea; there is no land-only route. In practice the stand build travels by ferry from a Baltic port or via Sweden with a shorter crossing in the north. The route depends on the start point, the deadline and space on the sailing. We confirm specific connections and ports per order, without quoting timetables, because they change with the season. Customs: Finland is an EU market
Finland is in the European Union, so for EU goods there is no customs clearance or border goods control, unlike transport to Great Britain or Switzerland. That simplifies the paperwork and shortens the chain of formalities. If, however, some exhibits arrive from outside the Union, for example from an exhibitor in a third market, customs and the ATA (Admission Temporaire, the temporary admission document) carnet come back into play. What do you lose if you skip it?
Trade fairs have a closed build and dismantle window that the organiser will not move for one late truck. If the ferry drops out of the plan or the stand build arrives after hall access hours, the stand does not go up in time. What is lost is not the delivery itself but presence at the event: an empty spot in the hall, the cost of booked space with no display, and the impression on clients who came to see the brand. At dismantle the delay works the other way: overrunning the exit window means surcharges and the risk the kit is stuck in the hall until the next day.
