How do we run fair transport to Spain?
We deliver the stand and exhibits for the agreed build-up slot and collect them after the event during breakdown. The time buffer is the key point: the run to the Iberian Peninsula goes through France and is longer than to fairs in the middle of Europe, so we set dates well ahead and, when the schedule is tight, run two drivers so the vehicle is not sitting on rest breaks. Dimensions, any ADR (the Accord governing international carriage of dangerous goods by road) and the venue's requirements are handled during planning, not at the ramp. Empty packaging and the return after breakdown
Once the exhibits are delivered, empty crates, lids and transport packaging rarely fit on the stand. We take them off the hall floor and store them in a warehouse close to the fairground, then bring them back on breakdown day so the crew can pack straight away. After breakdown we arrange the return of the stand and exhibits to the client's base or to the next event. The vehicle is booked to a specific window, so the return leg starts once the stand is actually packed, with no waiting on the client's side.
Build crews and the schedule
Beyond the transport itself, we arrange build crews: build-up and breakdown of the stand synced with the venue's booking-in window. We plan the schedule backwards from the first fair day: when the vehicle must be in the hall, when build-up starts, when we collect the empty packaging and when the return is planned. That way delivery, build-up and breakdown interlock as one chain rather than separate jobs counted from scratch.

Step by step
- Schedule planning. You specify the build-up dates and delivery window slots at the fairground.
- Vehicle selection. You choose the right transport option suited to the dimensions of the stand build.
- Slot booking-in. You register the exact lorry arrival time with the event organiser in Spain.
- Delivery and unloading. The carrier arrives within the agreed window to deliver the exhibits for build-up.
- Post-event collection. Once the fair ends, you arrange the prompt collection of the dismantled stand for the return journey.

When does this rule not apply?
