How do we run fair transport to Italy?
The reference point is the build-up slot set by the organiser. We book the entry against it, match the trailer to the size of the stand and exhibits, and for ADR (the Accord governing international carriage of dangerous goods by road) loads we add the required documentation and marking. We plan the Alpine leg with a margin, because in winter the passes and tunnels can be limited by capacity or weather. For tight dates we suggest dedicated, double-manned transport, so that driving time does not eat into the build-up slot. Empty packaging and the return after breakdown
Once the stand is up, empty crates, cages and pallets remain, and they have to survive to the end of the event. We collect them and store them in a warehouse close to the hall, then bring them back for breakdown in the agreed slot, so the crew waits neither for packaging nor for the vehicle. We plan the return as carefully as the delivery: we book the departure, load the stand and exhibits after breakdown and take them to the address given. That way the tear-down runs to the fair's schedule, not the other way round.
Fit-out crews and the schedule
Transport and fit-out have to keep one clock. We fit the delivery into the organiser's schedule and the fit-out crews' work, so the build arrives before the fitters, not after them. We set the unloading order for build-up, keep to the booking-in slots at entry and at breakdown, and line up the return with the moment the stand is already dismantled. One team runs the order from delivery to return, so at every stage it is clear where the kit is and who is responsible for what.
