OTSL serves exhibitors at Targi Kielce from its own transshipment base at ul. Batalionów Chłopskich 71, a few minutes from the exhibition halls at ul. Zakładowa 1. The warehouse works 24/7 and has a loading dock, a HIAB crane and forklifts up to 5 t, so it takes in stand fittings and exhibits long before the event and delivers them to the hall in the build-up slot from the exhibitor manual. For exhibitors from the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway we run the ATA carnet or temporary admission through our customs agency in Kielce. We are not the official forwarder of Targi Kielce; we serve exhibitors on our side of the gate.
Why Kielce
The OTSL base in Kielce is back-up for the venue, not a warehouse somewhere on the way. It has a dock, a HIAB crane for lifting heavy stand elements off the vehicle without a forklift, forklifts up to 5 t, side loading and unloading, and it works 24/7, so a vehicle from the other end of Europe does not wait until morning for the doors to open. The Targi Kielce halls are at ul. Zakładowa 1; the venue rules, calendar and organiser contact are on targikielce.pl.
The distance matters in three situations. When the vehicle arrives a day before the slot because that is how the route worked out, the fittings wait with us and not in a lorry park. When the organiser moves the build-up window, we deliver at the new time without redoing the whole route. When the exhibitor has a different slot from the transport arrival, we split the delivery into what goes into the hall at once and what waits. How the warehouse next to the Kielce fairground works and our Kielce location are described separately.
What we do for the exhibitor
- Collection of stand fittings and exhibits from the exhibitor or the stand builder, in Poland or abroad, consolidated from several addresses onto one vehicle.
- Consolidation of several exhibitors going to the same show: each pays for their share of the trailer, and one vehicle arrives at the hall in one slot.
- Delivery to the hall in the build-up slot, with a vehicle pass and booking-in according to the exhibitor manual.
- 24/7 warehouse buffer: goods in, storage and release on build-up day, weekends and nights included.
- Transshipment from a trailer to a rigid with a tail lift when the rules allow self unloading and the stand is small. A rigid truck with tail lift gets to places where an articulated vehicle cannot stand.
- Storage of empty packaging during the show and of fittings and exhibits between shows, so they do not travel there and back.
- Collection after breakdown in the exit slot and return to the exhibitor, or storage until the next show.
- Emergency delivery of a missing stand part during build-up.
Show calendar, as at 4 September 2026
Below are the shows we deliver to most often, with the organiser dates as at 4 September 2026. Check the dates in the organiser calendar, because they can move.
- MSPO, defence industry show: 8–11 September 2026.
- METAL and CONTROL-TECH: 22–24 September 2026.
- AGROTECH: 12–14 March 2027.
- STOM-TOOL: 6–9 April 2027.
- PLASTPOL: 18–21 May 2027.
- SACROEXPO: 21–23 June 2027.
When an exhibitor attends two shows in a row, for example MSPO in September and METAL two weeks later, the fittings stay in our warehouse in between. They go into the hall in the second show slot without a trip back to base.
Foreign exhibitor step by step
- We establish the customs status. An EU exhibitor brings exhibits in as an intra-EU movement with no customs. An exhibitor from the United Kingdom, Switzerland or Norway needs an ATA carnet issued by the chamber in their own country, or temporary admission.
- We prepare the list. Exhibits, advertising material and stand elements are split by what returns and what stays in Poland; ATA carnet or temporary admission depends on how many items there are and whether a carnet exists at all.
- We clear in Kielce. Our customs agency in Kielce handles entry on the carnet or the temporary admission entry, and after the show the closure of the procedure.
- We deliver in the slot. Booking-in, pass and arrival at the hall run the same way as for a Polish exhibitor, with a buffer in our warehouse if the journey from abroad ends before the slot.
- We return with a complete set of documents. On the way back to the United Kingdom we prepare the GMR and check that the carnet has the EU exit stamped, because without it the chamber will not discharge the carnet.
Limits: what the organiser decides
OTSL is not the official forwarder of Targi Kielce and has no exclusivity for work in the halls. Our responsibility for the load ends at the tailboard; unloading on the venue grounds, transport to the stand and equipment work inside the hall follow the organiser rules and are done by the contractor the organiser names. Access rules, gate hours, entry charges and charges for empty case storage on the venue grounds are set by the organiser, not by us.
We do what is on our side of the gate: the route, the buffer, customs documents, booking-in and a vehicle at the hall in the slot. Plus transshipment and storage in our own base, where the equipment and the working hours are ours. If the rules of a given show allow self unloading, the driver lowers the load on the tail lift and places it where the organiser indicates; that is agreed before departure.
